More Information
Welcome! My name is Eric, and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, specializing in treating trauma and PTSD. For me, counseling is a calling. The gift of being able to assist men and women to get out from under past baggage or free from recent traumas is a sacred experience. This is where Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing comes in (EMDR). Many people, whose quality of life is substantially diminished by overwhelming emotions or physical reactions, find that these experiences occur as the direct result of being in a situation that reminds them of a past hurt or fear.
In EMDR therapy, the counselor and client identify the connections between past trauma and present day body reactions. Once these connections are understood, the therapist guides the client through the reprocessing of the past event in the safe setting of the counseling office.
My gift is helping people get "unstuck." If you want to move forward from a past experience, but know you need a little assistance doing so, help is just a phone call away!
