NEW:  Lunch will be included each day.

PAYMENTS: LPCANC Members may make installment payments; initial deposit of 50% is required to register. The FINAL PAYMENT will be charged to your credit card on March 19, 2018.

Limited enrollment:  16 maximum.  Because of the developmental nature of this 4-day workshop, participants must commit to all four sessions; no partial credit is given for this class. Please reserve your space in this workshop today!  It will fill up!

The workshop offers in-depth coverage of feedback delivery, supervision models, intentionality, ethical and legal implications, multicultural/diversity issues, goal setting, supervision methods and techniques, assessment, contrast between group and individual supervision, self-assessment, group process, termination and thorough supervised practice of supervision skills.

Between the first Friday-Saturday session and the second, participants will prepare a PowerPoint presentation (maximum 8 slides) on multicultural/diversity issues in supervision.  A list of pertinent topics will be discussed the first day.  For maximum coverage of the multi/cultural topic, the group will make selections in such a way that duplication is not an issue.

Participants will also create and present a video of either an actual supervision session or with someone acting as a supervision client. (Video release required.)  An eight-minute section of the workshop participant's choice will be reviewed during intense applied individual and group workshop supervision. This assignment will be discussed thoroughly in the first session.

In addition, participants will receive, via email, feedback and consultation after completion of the workshop if their is a need.

The aim of the 45-hour experiential training is to ensure participants learn by actually doing.  The group is expected to experience actual supervision of others and to also receive supervision.  Too, group discussion and input is expected.

Once registration is complete, the presenter will contact participants with final workshop details via email and get answers to any questions.

Please Note: This class is an advanced practitioner's course, and requires at least 3 years of counseling experience.
